KF Colleague Spotlight / Lisa Vecchiarelli
Happy Summer, Lisa! A little bird told us you started working for a furniture company at a young age – tell us about those days and how it influenced your career in design.
I started working there while I was in High School collating product tear sheets for catalogs, back before technology made these things easier! By the time I graduated, I realized I wanted to skip college to keep working in the industry. I already had my favorite designs from memorizing the catalog and felt that I enjoyed learning about the production side of furniture. I continued learning and growing my workroom vocabulary, becoming more knowledgeable about wood production, inventory, freight (the good and bad side of delivering product!) and business functions that keep small businesses moving. That experience influenced my dedication to our industry.
You joined our Denver showroom team in August 2013 – which makes you a 13-year veteran this year. You hold the role of Sales Support Supervisor and are without a doubt a magician that makes things happen. What about your work excites you most?
I love being able to problem-solve situations to find the best results for all parties involved. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, a new situation arises giving me new challenges to give the best customer service possible. There are days my magic wand is broken, and I am unable to fix things entirely, but I am always open to conversations with our designers and suppliers to try accommodating situations as best we can.

We’re only halfway through the year, but we are already planning for Paris in January. You have made the trip with Team KF before – which memory is your favorite?
I had the chance to finally go in 2025 after conquering my fear of flying over the ocean and there are no regrets! With the full schedule Paris brings, my favorite activity was the Pierre Frey archive tour. Paris is rich with history, but to see some of the inspiration for products being released as well as pieces over 100 years old is what makes design so fascinating!
My favorite memory would have to be our KF Team Dinner. I am so fortunate to have a team, not only in Denver, but in LA and SF that are so rich with knowledge that we can come together and continue learning from one another over a nice dinner in a different country!
Outside of showroom hours, we also understand you’re a proud momma to a 15-year-old daughter. Tell us about her and what you two get into. (And any chance she’s interested in working for KF in the future? 😊)
Camille is my world! Since she is my one and only, I am trying to take in every last moment before she heads out to the world on her own. Our big adventures typically put us at concerts! We both love music, and nothing is better than seeing artists live and appreciating their talents. She’s also very active in high school, so I am always taking time off to support her with Cheer and Golf, or whatever she needs to be successful. One would say I am her biggest cheerleader! (And KF is always our biggest supporter by allowing me to do so!) She does talk about Interior Design, but I think she’s still figuring it out.
You’re an October 30th baby, right? Is Halloween your jam, or do you boycott it because it steals your spotlight?
HALLOWEEN IS LIFE! I have always loved my birthday, and being right next to a spooky holiday only makes me love it more! I’ve hosted a fair share of Halloween themed birthday parties because seeing people be creative and dress up makes me happy!
What are your top picks from new collections for 2026 so far? Do you dare name a favorite?
Top picks would have to be Zak + Fox’s Qualia Collection and Rosemary Hallgarten.
Zak always puts out a very thoughtful collection each season with an amazing story that really puts the product on another level. From his collection, I am in love with “Miri” and all the astrology references!
Rosemary is still fairly new to Denver, but the products are so stunning! Loving the new Ombre Mirage Rug with the inverted stripe along the edge. I’m a sucker for ombre, and it was nice to see the reverse ombre to give it that pop!

If you could have been born in a different decade, which one would you choose – and why?
The 70’s, so that I could’ve been a little older during the 80’s to fully experience that decade!
